Upcoming (Aug 2026): Bioart as Collaborative Research Infrastructure (Canadian Science Policy Centre)

New Publication: Bioart as Collaborative Research Infrastructure in Canadian Science Policy Centre French Editorial Series

Dr. WhiteFeather Hunter and Ludmila Lima de Morais have co-authored a new bilingual editorial for the Canadian Science Policy Centre (CSPC) French Editorial Series, Volume 2, titled:

Bioart as Collaborative Research Infrastructure: Building Bridges Between Art, Science, and Regions in Canada / Le bioart comme infrastructure de recherche collaborative : créer des ponts entre l’art, la science et les régions du Canada.

The publication builds upon Hunter’s ongoing SSHRC-funded BioArt in Canada Knowledge Synthesis Grant, which investigates the evolving landscape of bioart across Canada and the infrastructures that sustain artistic research involving the life sciences.

Published as part of Collaborating to Innovate: Building Scientific Bridges Across Regions and Sectors in Canada (French Editorial Series, Volume 2), the editorial contributes to national conversations on interdisciplinary collaboration and the role of the arts in Canada’s research and innovation ecosystem.
