WhiteFeather mentors young textile artist as part of Emploi Québec’s Jeunes Volontaires program

WhiteFeather is supporting emerging artist, Sophia Borowska, as a mentor as part of the Emploi Québec’s Jeunes Volontaires (Young Volunteers) program. WhiteFeather will provide Sophia support in the development of the administrative side of her textile practice while she builds a new body of work towards securing her first solo exhibition. Visit Sophia Borowska’s website, here. WhiteFeather has worked with Sophia over the past four years in various capacities as a textile artist and arts administrator.

The Young Volunteers program is meant to support emerging entrepreneurs, between the ages of 16 and 29, in developing new skills while working on a project of their own design, to gain hands-on work experience. More info on the Young Volunteers program here.
