WhiteFeather has been invited to present her work as part of the International Colloquium “Cuerpos que gozan, cuerpos que piensan” (Bodies that feel pleasure, bodies that think), taking place May 5-8 at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Mexico City, MX.
WhiteFeather’s talk, titled Pleasure as Epistemic Problem: Obscene Omissions in Reproductive Science, introduces Obscene Omissions through the lens of pleasure as an epistemic problem in reproductive science, and positions feminist bioart as a method for generating alternative forms of knowledge that address these omissions.
While in Mexico City, WhiteFeather has also been invited to present an artist talk to the Arte+Ciencia research program, also at UNAM. More info to come.
